The Entorno is a collaborative space where living and creating together happen. They not only produce but have chosen ceramics as their artistic medium of expression. They are a movement that embodies cyclical expression and values the act of making over mere production. Their primary goal is to raise awareness, connecting the end customer with the ceramicist’s creation process.
The texture creation process was a four-handed endeavor and entirely collaborative. The artist shaped the fresh clay and then pressed the piece onto paper, creating a graphic imprint. I photographed this texture, manipulated, and modified it to craft compositions that can be utilized across various materials.
A Entorno é um espaço colaborativo onde se vive e se cria juntos. Eles não só produzem como escolheram a cerâmica para se expressar artisticamente. São um movimento que expressa o cíclico e que valoriza mais o fazer que o produzir. Seu maior objetivo é transmitir consciência, ligando o cliente final com o processo de criação do ceramista.
O processo de criação das texturas foi feito a quatro mãos e foi totalmente colaborativo. A artista moldou a argila fresca e depois jogou a peça em um papel, produzindo uma mancha grafica. Eu fotografei essa textura, manipulei e modifiquei para criar composições que podem ser usadas em vários materiais.
